Pipeline Product Introduction - Brazil and Chile

Led the introduction of pipeline products into Brazilian and Chilean markets, including route-to-market development, distributor relationships and regulatory navigation in two distinct South American markets.

Working in partnership with the UK Government's Department of Trade and Industry, I led a business development programme across South America to promote a specialist range of pipeline products designed to withstand the extreme temperature fluctuations experienced in high-altitude copper mining operations.

The programme included visits to major mining companies in Brazil, Peru and Chile, where I successfully demonstrated the operational and maintenance advantages of the products to leading multinational mining organisations. By addressing the significant challenges posed by harsh desert environments and demanding maintenance schedules, the products gained strong commercial interest within the sector.

To establish a long-term market presence, I also identified and appointed a local sales agent in Chile, creating a regional platform to support future business development and sustained sales growth across South America.
