New Business Sector - Trade Supply, Muna Noor
Identified and developed a wholly new business sector for Muna Noor - Trade Supply. Opened seven new trade distribution outlets across Oman and the UAE, creating a significant new revenue stream for the business.
Development of the GCC Trade Outlet Network
Drawing on my experience with the UK and European merchant distribution model, including organisations such as BSS, Wolseley and Travis Perkins, I recognised a significant gap in the GCC construction supply market. Unlike Europe, where professionally managed branch networks serve trade customers, the region relied predominantly on small, independent local suppliers.
Identifying this opportunity, I developed and implemented the Group's first structured trade merchant network. Within two years, I identified, acquired and developed seven strategically located trade outlets across Oman and the UAE.

Each location was selected using detailed market analysis and traffic-flow assessment to maximise visibility and accessibility to construction professionals - positioning branches on established trade routes to capture the highest levels of passing contractor business, commonly referred to as the "sheep run".
The flagship outlet in Dubai became the Group's highest-performing trade branch, while a second flagship facility was integrated into the new corporate headquarters in Muscat, Oman, creating a combined administrative, distribution and trade centre.

The network transformed the company's route to market, strengthened customer access, increased market share and established one of the region's first professionally managed construction trade merchant operations.
