Water Treatment Equipment Design - Permutit/Thames Water
Designed innovative water treatment equipment for Permutit, working in conjunction with Thames Water. Technical design from concept through to specification and commercial application.
Early in my career, I joined Permutit, then the UK's leading manufacturer of water treatment plants and equipment. Beginning in subcontractor equipment testing, I progressed into product design and the implementation of manufacturing processes, developing a strong technical foundation in engineering and production.
I transitioned to general management at this time, running production, storage and distribution.
During this period, I became a Member of the Institute of Engineering Designers (MIED), ensuring my engineering design skills remained at the highest professional standard.
Over the following fifteen years in the water treatment industry, I established myself as a capable and results-driven leader, progressing through successive management roles to Director level. This experience provided a comprehensive understanding of engineering, manufacturing, operations and commercial management, forming the foundation for my subsequent international executive career.
